I am a legal scholar studying financial and consumer markets under conditions of rapid technological change. I am interested in how changes to laws, social norms, and technological architectures can achieve more socially desirable outcomes—such as promoting consumer welfare and reducing inequality. I approach these questions from a variety of doctrinal, theoretical, and methodological perspectives informed by different fields of law, as well as other disciplines such as economics and computer science. In so doing, I draw on my interdisciplinary professional and academic experience, including as a practicing attorney in the areas of banking and finance.
I am also a visual artist, working mainly in photography, gouache and acrylic on canvas, and ceramics.
These pages contain a collection of my perspectives, expressed in images, words, and sounds.
