DC Transitioning documents the process of gentrification, or "transitioning", in Washington D.C., using the medium of photography. Focusing on a handful of transitioning neighborhoods, the photos seek to capture gentrification through its inherent contrasts - old versus new, rich versus poor, white versus colored. Does gentrification produce more winners or losers?
